It’s clear for a successful ministry one does need managerial skills and people skills. Assuming most of the leaders have the former. What will a Minister from State Capital background know of Irrigation Ministry, for the matter Power Ministry?
What is his grassroot learning of the needs of the beneficiaries of this ministry?
Is there any kind of pre-ministerial courses he/ she goes through? We need as citizens and voters more clarity on the team composition at each of the ministry, who are the people who make the decisions and escalate it to the minister. Is the ignorance that I have?
Second issue, is misuse of power with respect to security. Is there any level of prioritization that MLA or MPs have for traffic clearance. Why all MLAs are provided VIP traffic clearance and blockage of traffic to common man. Is there any prioritization only for ministers only?
